Animal 04:15
Sleep on the forest floor Like an animal right after it pour Give me your hands like before I will hold you till I can’t anymore Come on baby Don’t feel crazy You’re just alive I wanna be your guy Come on baby Don’t feel crazy You’re just an animal Dressed up in disguise I hope you don’t feel any regret It’s the life you take that you’re gonna get It’s not the first thing that I would guess What she offered me I had to say yes Come on baby Don’t be crazy You’re just a red The Grateful Dead Come on baby Don’t get spacey We’ll launch tomorrow When the wind is up high Now I’m just a cross-legged boy In a circle of the hearts I enjoy Everyday I’m searching for love And I haven’t left what I’m dreaming of Come on baby Be my lady Through the abyss A beautiful kiss Come on lady Be my baby Run into the mist And stand where we kiss You don’t know how much you can be You’re the sum of everything that you see I want to build a house from a tree Plant my lover on the sea like a leaf Come on baby You’re so crazy That’s not a ghost That’s just the wind Come on baby We’re so crazy I’m here alone Will you let me in?

How I Fight 04:27
I’ll tell you bout the time I broke my heart I chose the time and the one to take it out I raised my fist as I walked out Her friends don’t know what that’s about But they told me to leave so that’s what I’m about Another time I saw her standing there She looked real good so I just stared I just dropped my eyes and stood right there And now I know she doesn’t care A lifetime spent and then it went I guess I’ll die without a clue When the bird flew by I wanted too And that’s how high when I look at you A blinding light and I want to fight But I fall into the dream of you When I was ten I met a friend She had cold stares and the pretty hair But I just thought she must be taken There’s no room left for the heart I’m breaking So I just give her the smile I’m faking When I stand up to marry you I hope the people get a look at you And if I fall I meant it too Everyday I’m full of shame But what is love without the pain? Your face is bright in the cold night Turn off the light to hold you tight I want to sing to the one I love But every turn I lose the sight I try again, that’s how I fight.

Monday morning comes around It's not what's said it's what is found I never meant to be profound Even when I'm all I am I feel my life is more a scam And I can only live through the jam But the rhythm don't wait while you're away I know you've been blinded Sing a melody and you'll find It's all a cycle in repeat Just play along to make the beat And when you hear it all repeat Don't be a stranger then I'm not as happy as I have been And I just sit and sing about my sins, oh no Even though you say you know It's not the feelings that you show And I don't want to be alone Cause the rhythm don't wait while you're away I know you've been blinded Play a melody and you'll find It's all a cycle in repeat Just play along to make the beat Cause the rhythm don't wait while you're away I know you've been blinded Sing a melody and you'll find It's all a cycle in repeat Just play along to make the beat.

One day you'll find that you can't hide it I'll be the one to make you sign it Push all your friends to make 'em define it All of your life you just been lyin' it Make all your notes to remind the pilot Pierce all the nights to control the silence Hear all the worst and you haven't the faintest Idea why all the people are complaining Love is a stitch and it holds us together Make someone laugh and it changes the weather Just 'cause you die don't mean it ain't better All of my life is inside this letter If you're afraid you can touch my green sweater Women are rough and men aren't much better Birds are a a flame and your face is an ember Meet me on this spot ten years in December Break me in two so I can remember If I am dead before it gets better Drag me across the sea to get wetter I am a kid and I like to play ball I am a monster who likes when you fall I am the forest you hear something call I am the stars in my arms that you fall I am your mother I haven't any time I am the grass in the key that you find I am the courage you have all the time But you don't stick around and always fall behind I am the life, and the death, and the hope I am the point of the weed that you smoke And I am the sky that is blue like the sea I get up early So I don't have a second chance Are you a lady— Are you just someone next to me? Could we be married? Her heart is like unbroken glass Can be so scary But that's what life is meant to be.

Tell me 'bout Love, love, love Tell me 'bout Love, love, love I walked into a door the other day She looked at me and then she looked the other way I don't have what it takes to be ok Blood is red cause it hurts when you give it away Tell me 'bout love, love, love Tell me 'bout love, love, love Here I stand with the with the colors in my hand again Another day another beautiful bird flies away They all start tripping cause they're laughing at the words I say I say laugh while you can cause you'll get where you're going one day We are in the ghost We are in the ghost Tell me 'bout Love, love, love Tell me 'bout Love, love, love Here I stand with the colors in my hand again Turn your head and I'll kiss you again so red Love is bitter but it makes you grow bigger I read Everyone's a ghost and they try to do the most I read We are in the ghost We are in the ghost So tell me 'bout Love, love, love Please tell me 'bout Love, love, love

Hail 02:41
Hail to this broken king inside a ring for the better, well hes got this thing that he wants not to remember So they walk outside when they thought he lied and the torches light when the moon grew bright and the songbird sung just to fill the lung of the heartless thief in December, he never thought it through Safe In this flat old place It's peaceful in the meadow, But he's layin' in a bed of sharpened metal So they walk outside when they thought he lied and the torches light when the moon grew bright and the songbird sung just to fill the lung of the heartless thief in December, he never thought it through

To Myself 04:20
I was high at four o'clock in the morning The girl I like is laughing while it's snowing Help me to address what's in this mooring Will you sleep with me if I am snoring? Everytime I try again, I haven't breakfast Pilot light to the face and I am hungry Baby you can place your love in small deeds Tuck them in the ground like many small seeds And when the rain comes You know it's gonna show Like a crazy love rainbow Like a well-shot truth arrow... In your eyes I see the rippled pastland Break it in your heart like I'm the last man If the crying starts just let it out, man 'Cause it's the only thing I can understand I'm just the wreckage Of a ball you tried to throw Of a kiss you want to know And a place you'd love to go And the garden you will grow— Don't let it get away from you 'Cause you are right Break up the night And sing to God I was in your arms when I felt so drunk Tried to pass the time, and smoke, a midnight punk But I'm just to myself, too often, and it's a joke.

In My Arms 02:30
I want to hear your footsteps when you come I want to feel the sun bathing in the water Here i have a choice Should i rise to meet you Carried many years Untold by men Speaks in many tongues Flashing like the sun Radiant and always Just begun I love you even though you Don't know me I love the way you laugh The things that make you scared The way you lift your head up The way you build up courage Touch the frozen ocean And I'll touch you The things we cannot make The love we will not break Such a thing to hold you In my arms.

No Emotion 03:16
I try to get you out of bed Knock on the door inside your head Can you hear me? Please don’t fear me I want to raise you from the dead And fill your heart with joy instead Can you hear me? Please come near me We’re living in a house by the ocean She closes her eyes to show no emotion I’m lifting up beyond the clouds To show you that I live without The ghost town I’m not boasting I’m holding up your purple hair To show I never lost you there Can you see me? You’re dreaming near me Once in a lifetime you can dare Once in the morning you aren’t scared I’m feeling unbelievable As you arrive inside my soul And you get high on rock n roll You raise the sheets and lose control She dances to the music And she’s barefoot in the garden now It’s amazing how she touches We just gave up She’s like Jesus There’s always a way to get by There’s always a way to get high I’m filling up your coffee cup You’re groggy ‘cause you just got up Do you want me To cook you something? I’m sorry that I got up late I was dreaming something I don’t hate Do you love me? ‘Cause I like to love you

You spent all your money on pot I bet it makes you feel pretty hot You had this chance to be a hero But you kinda got lost You heard stories You got out of town You thought you really heard the sound But it just haunts you Like it used to them I want you to know You'll always be my good friend What could it be, would could it be? A thousand red-eyed pictures of me What's the point, who's in the wrong? It could be we're all just trying to sing along Someone told me You used to like Sitting down amongst the trees But it was always a certain sound That was my Jesus you had found What if we could live together? I know nothing lasts forever What if we could be like friends? Some things last until the end

Live for Liv 04:23
Sometimes I get so down I feel like an upside down clown Get myself trapped in a vortex Spinning round and round God, please help someone get me off This trip and get me down I want some peace and quiet Place by the river Some place far outta town I see you standing there You’re just standing there So still and yet in motion I feel a good emotion I’ve been so dry lately Wanna die lately But you make me want to live Hey Liv, nice to meet you Want to live for Liv Where’s she going? I don’t know Saw a ghost and I chase it down But I’m just getting close to the ocean Here’s a gate to hell and back Close the door and turn it back Where’s she going? I don’t know I saw her face I saw a ghost I saw a reason to live I’m believing in this Can I have a kiss I guess I’ll be going Aww shucks I just the you-know-ing My heart inside is growing And she doesn’t close the door Hope to see you soon Write to you soon Talk to you soon Walk with you soon You know I’ll be up all night for you Is this true? I don’t know The moon gives off a green glow The factory smog stack is puffing for the old facts And I never want to know What if I die before I get back? Walk into a car have a heart attack I think she’d walk me back Seems to know the way What a babe When I look back She waves at me so bad It makes me sad But I feel so fucking glad

about

The themes of this album are hope, perseverance, and friendship. From a small town near Concord, Massachusetts, I learned the importance of coming together as a community, as family and friends, in order to manage the hard times in life — winter, breakup, homelessness, and sorrow of all kinds — and to grow the warmth of the Light, by sharing what we have, when it seems all we have is our love.
